Georgia man whose daughter was murdered in Jerusalem terror attack faces antisemitic harassment from neighbors using anti-Jewish epithets.By World Israel News StaffAn antisemitic Atlanta couple is under fire after they verbally harassed their Jewish neighbor whose daughter was murdered in a terror attack nearly two years ago.Last Thursday, video footage from an encounter between David Lubin, a Jewish resident of the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Dunwoody, and two of his neighbors was uploaded to social media.During the video of the encounter, which lasted over four minutes, Anna Bouzyk and her husband, Mark Bouzyk, can be seen berating Lubin, justifying their use of the antisemitic epithet “kike,” and justifying the murder of Lubin’s daughter in an Arab terror attack. In November 2023, Lubin’s daughter Rose, a border police officer, was stabbed to death in an attack in the Old City of Jerusalem.Just a month earlier, Rose helped fend off Gaza terrorists attacking Kibbutz Sa’ad, where she resided, on October 7th.Following his daughter’s murder, Lubin has faced harassment from the Bouzyks, who last August posted a number of anti-Israel and antisemitic signs on their lawn, apparently targeted at Lubin.“Netanyahu is a war criminal,” one sign read. “AIRPORT: Run, run as fast as you can, cowards!” another read. Other signs read “We stand with Palestine,” and “End the Occupation!”A fifth sign, printed with the slogan “Stop funding war criminals,” also featured the word “kike” written in by hand no less than 24 times.Sign with the word “kike” written in 24 times, put on display on the lawn of Anna and Mark Bouzyk in Georgia. (X)The antisemitic sign sparked a backlash from locals, drawing some two dozen protesters to the adjoining sidewalk.Dunwoody Mayor Lynn Deutsch condemned the sign in a social media post, calling it “deeply disturbing and offensive,” while noting the city was unable legally to force its removal.“We cannot have the sign removed or legislate against hate speech, but we can encourage residents to engage in respectful dialogue.”At the request of one local woman, the Bouzyks eventually removed the sign, which featured the word “kike,” while leaving the other signs in place.Last week, in the confrontation between the Bouzyks and Lubin, the couple defended their use of the word “kike,” using the epithet again to describe Lubin, while denying its antisemitic context.“What is wrong with that?” Anna asked. The couple also justified the murder of Lubin’s daughter.“She was there to murder,” Anna responded when Lubin asked if the couple took issue with the killing of his daughter. “She was in there to kill.”Anna went on to deny being antisemitic, saying that her own ancestry is “Semitic.”“I am a Semite. My family comes from North Africa.”“I have Jew friends.”Mark Bouzyk, a former genetics researcher with ties to the pharmaceutical industry, is president and co-founder of AllaiHealth.“This is what antisemitism looks like in real life,” Lubin said after the encounter.“Today, they still keep their pro-Palestine signs up… but rip down my Rose stickers whenever they see them. When I tried to replace one, they screamed at me — right there on my own street.”“It’s exhausting. It’s scary. And it’s a reminder: Hate isn’t some faraway problem — it’s here, staring us in the face. If we turn away, it wins. If we stay silent, it grows.”The post ‘Kike!’ – Atlanta antisemites harass father of terror victim, justify daughter’s murder appeared first on World Israel News.
