TPCC president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Saturday said that ‘dissident’ remarks made by party MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy are being referred to the disciplinary committee headed by senior leader Mallu Ravi.Mr. Goud declined to comment on what action the party might take, stating that the leadership would examine whether the remarks were directed at Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The disciplinary committee will examine.Mr. Rajgopal Reddy had recently alleged that the government was not allocating funds to his Munugode constituency, while funds were being diverted to the constituencies of top leaders. He also accused some in the party of seeking ‘both power and money’.Mr. Reddy has been making his displeasure quite clear on various occasions, particularly directing at the Chief Minister indirectly. Earlier, he had objected to the Chief Minister’s remarks on individuals masquerading as journalists on social media, and urged the government to focus on public issues instead.Mr. Rajgopal Reddy has been dissatisfied after being denied a Cabinet berth, despite his claims that the party high command had assured during the Assembly and Parliament elections.Published - August 16, 2025 08:17 pm IST
