BlogMickey reports that crews took the sign down Friday afternoon.The store itself closed years ago, prior to the COVID-19 shutdowns, with the sign simply serving as a reminder of what once was. Guests theorized Disney may have planned on reopening the store at some point, though this new update leads us to believe Mickey’s Gift Station is likely gone for good.Walt Disney World has not made any kind of official announcement regarding this location.Mickey’s Gift Station was nothing to write home about, but it was helpful for guests looking to get their shopping done early in the morning or after their day at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom had ended.The Ticket & Transportation Center is the hub that connects resort hotels to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Due to the closure of the Rivers of America, other fan-favorite attractions like Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat also closed.Closures aren’t just limited to the Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios theme parks have also seen major operational changes.
