Aug 13 – Suspected Baloch separatist fighters have carried out a series of coordinated attacks in Zehri town, Khuzdar district, targeting Pakistani military convoys and key transport routes, local sources reported on Tuesday.According to the sources, armed militants established blockades at three different points along major highways, disrupting movement in and out of the area. The Sunni–Noorgama road was reportedly destroyed using heavy machinery and bulldozers, effectively cutting off access for Pakistani forces.Military convoys advancing through the Gazan and Mashk areas came under attack, with unconfirmed reports of casualties among security personnel. In one major incident in Kucho, Gazan Zulfiqarabad, a convoy of eight military vehicles was ambushed. Three vehicles were completely destroyed, while two others were seized along with weapons. The attackers are said to have withdrawn without suffering losses.Sources further indicated that several Pakistani military personnel have been surrounded by fighters for over 24 hours. Reinforcements arriving on foot from Zalkan were reportedly trapped in a riverbed in the Spedikk area, where they remained encircled as of Tuesday evening.Attempts to evacuate the besieged troops using drones and helicopters on Tuesday morning were unsuccessful, according to local accounts.
