Kerala BJP chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar announced that the Centre has approved the addition of three sleeper coaches to the Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express, fulfilling a long-pending demand. This addition, effective from August 2, will increase ticket availability and ease travel for numerous passengers on this busy route. The train will now operate with 22 modern coaches.
