Hundreds of Iranian dissident activists plan downfall of the Iranian regime, as Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi says collapse of Ayatollah Khamenei’s rule is now inevitable.By World Israel News StaffHundreds of Iranian dissidents and exiled opposition leaders rallied in Germany over the weekend, planning for the possible downfall of the regime in Tehran.Over 500 people including members of dissident Iranian political groups, exiled activists, entrepreneurs, academics, artists, and athletes gathered in Munich on Saturday for the Convention of National Cooperation to Save Iran, organized by Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.Attendees ran the gamut ideologically from Right to Left, including monarchists and republicans representing all of Iran’s major ethnic and religious groups.Pahlavi, son of the deposed Shah, both of whom fled Iran during the 1979 Islamic Revolution, gave the keynote address, calling the republic’s collapse “inevitable,” claiming the regime is “weaker and more unstable” than at any point since it seized power under Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.“A historic moment has arrived,” Pahlavi declared. “The Islamic Republic is weaker and more unstable than at any time in its 46-year history. An unprecedented opportunity has opened for the Iranian people to topple this anti-Iranian regime.”Predicting that the fall of the present regime is “inevitable,” Pahlavi argued that dissidents and opposition groups must unite to prevent the ayatollahs from engaging in additional foreign wars or causing internal damage to Iran in a desperate bid to remain in power.“We, the vast majority of the Iranian people, have come forward to save our motherland. The fall of this regime is inevitable. We are here to ensure that the Islamic Republic does not take Iran and our great nation down with it.”“If the Islamic Republic remains, if appeasement continues, and if the world yields to its blackmail, this regime will inevitably bring war and military conflict to Iran and the region.”Political prisoners held in the Fashafouyeh Prison, also known as the Greater Tehran Central Penitentiary, addressed the gathering in an audio message, calling for the replacement of the current regime with a democratic, secular government under Pahlavi’s leadership.Activists victimized by the Iranian government and family members of activists killed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were also in attendance, sharing details of the regime’s human rights violations. The post ‘Iran’s fall is inevitable’ – Prince Reza Pahlavi rallies Iranian dissidents calling for Khamenei’s overthrow appeared first on World Israel News.
