Defense Minister Israel Katz addressed the deaths of three IDF soldiers during operations in Gaza: Captain Amir Saad, an officer in the Golani reconnaissance unit; Sergeant Inon Nuriel Vana, a combat soldier in the same unit; and Sergeant major (res.) Betzalel Yehoshua Mosbacher, a fighter in the 749th Combat Engineering Battalion, who succumbed to his wounds about a week after being injured in battle.Katz expressed deep sorrow over the loss and offered condolences to the bereaved families. “The State of Israel has lost three brave young men who acted for its security and the return of the hostages. The entire nation embraces you,” he said.
