Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has sold 6.6 million shares worth around $1.5 billion, according to a filing with the US SEC. The sale, executed just days before Amazon's Q2 earnings release, follows a steady pattern of disposals under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan. Since late June, Bezos has offloaded nearly $5.7 billion in shares. He plans to sell up to 25 million more by mid-2026, while also donating millions to charity. His total share sales since 2002 now top $50 billion.
