US dollar index was up 0.16 per cent at 99.949 after rising nearly 1 per cent in the previous session. It is on track for the first monthly gain in 2025. Euro was last up 0.19 per cent at $1.1426, having hit a seven-week low on Wednesday. Still, it remained on track to lose nearly 3 per cent this month.
