Acting swiftly, the team, led by Detective Staff In-charge Mandeep Singh, reached the location and detained the suspect.The accused has been identified as Sumit, alias Dhangar, a resident of Dadumajra, Chandigarh. Upon searching him, the police recovered four illegal country-made pistols and four live cartridges.
