Samsung has launched a 15.6-inch version of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge in India. Last year, the company debuted the Snapdragon-powered laptop in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, and compared to those models, the 15.6-inch version has a massive downgrade in terms of display quality.Galaxy Book 4 Edge 15.6-inch has an LCD displayThe Galaxy Book 4 Edge 15.6-inch, which is now available in India with a price tag of INR 64,990 (~$743), uses an IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and an anti-glare coating. In comparison, the 14-inch and 16-inch versions of the laptop feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with 3K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.The rest of the specifications remain the same between the three models. The 15.6-inch model of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge uses the octa-core Snapdragon X processor (X1-26-100, up to 3GHz), 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB eUFS storage, and a 61.2 Wh battery with 65 W fast charging.The laptop runs Windows 11 and has all the Copilot+ PC AI features. It has a full-sized keyboard with a numpad and a fingerprint reader embedded into the power button. The device has 1.5W stereo speakers, a 2MP webcam, a glass trackpad with Windows Precision drivers and multitouch, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.Other connectivity features of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge 15.6 include an HDMI 2.1 port with 4K@60Hz output, one USB 3.2 Type-A port, two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone+microphone combo port.
