Ugandan musician Yassin Mukasa, popularly known as Lil Pazo, has weighed in on the move initiated by events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, alias Abtex, and Nobart Events, urging fellow promoters to ban Eddy Kenzo. According to Lil Pazo, he believes that the pair’s strategy won’t work since they don’t have the mandate to rally all Ugandan promoters not to book him. “You can’t ban Eddy Kenzo from performing anywhere in this country. First of all, he is a promoter. He will organize his events, and he has the money to do so. You can’t stop promoters and bar owners from booking him. They should find another strategy for stopping him, ” Lil Pazo shared He urged the two to find another means, by either taking legal action against him, asserting that banning him from stage shows wouldn’t be possible.“Maybe, they can take legal action against him, but banning him from stage shows, that won’t be possible, ” Lil Pazo emphasized Eddy Kenzo dismisses promoter ban as unserious and baselessHe further explained that Eddy Kenzo has yet to receive the Ugx 35 billion that was announced by the government, set to be given to the creative industry. “This government doesn’t have good PR, which is why people are bitter with it. The Ugx 35 billion is too much, and Eddy Kenzo has yet to receive the money, ” Lil PazoThe post Lil Pazo urges promoters to find alternative strategy to stop Eddy Kenzo appeared first on MBU.
