Chairman of Hutti Gold Mines Company Limited J.T. Patil on Tuesday oversaw preparations for a programme in which Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will lay foundation stone for the construction of residential quarters for the company’s staff on August 6 at Hutti in Lingsugur taluk of Raichur district.He also chaired a preliminary meeting with officers of the departments concerned.He said that 20,000 people are expected to take part in the programme. Necessary arrangements are to be put in place for dignitaries and elected representatives participating in the programme. Ensure proper facilities, including transportation, food, seating, and also adequate security for the programme, he told the officers.Officers should make necessary arrangements for people coming to submit their grievances applications to the Chief Minister, Mr. Patil said.MLA Manappa Vajjal instructed the officers to follow the instructions as per protocol.Deputy Commissioner Nitish K. said that responsibilities to organise the programme properly have been given to the officers concerned.MLA Sharanagouda Bayyapur, the former MLA D.S. Hulageri, Managing Director of the company R. Shilpa, Superintendent of Police G.
