The ride incorporates many complex and high-tech features, like projection mapping and a trackless ride system not seen in many other Disney rides. Because of this complexity, however, the ride is prone to occasional glitches and downtime, especially during its first year at the park.One guest managed to capture a rather bizarre glitch while on the ride several years ago, posting the video to TikTok. A version can also be found in Disneyland. As stated above, the ride uses a trackless ride system similar to what can be found in Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway replaced the Great Movie Ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
