‘Never had the privilege ’: Trump’s denial machine backfires as he mourns not experiencing the very thing he claims to condemn

Wait 5 sec.

Donald Trump denied ever having visited disgraced New York financier Jeffrey Epstein’s island in a recent interview although from the way he spoke it almost sounds like he wished he had. Apparently the president thinks that it is a “privilege” to have been able to visit the island owned by the late sex offender. Speaking at the Trump owned Turnberry golf course in Scotland, the president was questioned by reporters. At one point he assertively declares “by the way I never went to the island,” before going on to accuse former president Bill Clinton of flying out there “28 times.” Trump has been rather dismissive when it comes to talking about the Epstein case, however, here he seems rather talkative. He also accuses former head of Harvard and economist Larry Summers of visiting the island too. However, one moment, which has raised a lot of eyebrows, is when Donald Trump says, “I never had the privilege of going to his island.”  MAJOR BREAKING: In the most disgusting moment of his presidency, Trump says he “never had the ‘privilege’ of going to Epstein Island.”NEVER HAD THE PRIVILEGE?There is no coming back from this. Anyone who supports him now is as disgusting as he is. pic.twitter.com/LuT9g9EsVh— CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism) July 28, 2025 Now why would anyone in their right mind describe visiting an island where people were allegedly sexually abused by the rich and powerful as a “privilege?” Donald Trump’s disgusting comment gets called out People online found the President’s comments to be rather disgusting considering the nature of the crimes that occurred on the island. One person wrote, “When someone refers to a child predator’s island as a ‘privilege,’ you’re not hearing a denial… you’re hearing a lament.” Another added, “He thinks it was a PRIVILEGE? Disgusting.” It’s definitely a poor choice of words on Trump’s part, however, some of his defenders believe that people are simply looking too hard into the comment, one such individual claimed, “He was being facetious.” Others believed that the part that required more attention was the accusations Trump made against the likes of Clinton and Summers. Regardless, it seems this whole Epstein ordeal has turned many against Trump, this could seriously affect his presidency, especially with the midterms approaching next year. The President may not have visited the island, but he was close with Epstein Trump can deny being flown out to the island all he wants, the evidence for that may be gone or have never existed, but what there is still plenty of evidence for is the fact that Donald and Jeffrey were very close friends. For example, recently CNN uncovered photos that prove Epstein was in attendance at Trump’s wedding to Marla Maples in 1993. This video looks more like a desperate attempt from Trump to shift the focus onto other prominent figures. He claims that he denied invites to Epstein’s island but many still don’t believe him, one X user called him, “the greatest liar that has ever existed,” and they have a point. Trump has lied about so much and so often that it’s difficult to believe anything he says anymore, the man can’t even be honest when it comes to golf!
