Every new Galaxy S Ultra device has brought significant upgrades over its predecessor. However, going by a new leak, it looks like Samsung’s next non-foldable flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, will bring even more substantial changes. According to the latest rumor, it will may have a thinner and lighter body, a display with new technologies, multiple camera upgrades, much faster charging speed, and of course, a significantly more powerful processor. On X, @UniverseIce claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a thickness of sub-7mm and it will be a few grams lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it one of the thinnest and lightest ultra high-end smartphones on the market. However, it will be slightly taller and wider while having the same display size. Does that translate to wider bezels around the display. Well, we haven’t seen Samsung going in the reverse direction in this regard. So, it is hard to say.Improved anti-reflective coating and newer camerasAccording to the tipster, the screen will have “CoE depolarizer technology” and third-generation anti-reflective glass. While there is not much information available about the former, the latter should cut down the reflections on the display even further, making it appear clearer and brighter against sources of light. As for cameras, PhoneArt says that the Galaxy S26 Ultra's primary camera will have the ISOCELL HP2 (2026) sensor, which will offer an ultra-large aperture, a new 3x telephoto camera, and a 5x periscope camera with a larger aperture as well, which is something that was previously leaked. Galaxy S26 Ultra to offer 60W charging speedAccording to the tipster, the phone will have a 5,000mAh, which also something that we learned earlier. However, they claim that it will support 60W fast charging, a significant improvement over the current model’s 45W charging speed. Lastly, PhoneArt says that Samsung may use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset for the device but it is also testing Exynos 2600 for the phone. With these upgrades, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be very hard to beat. However, there's still a lot of time for the launch, and a lot could change between now and then. The post New Galaxy S26 Ultra leak points at significant improvements appeared first on SamMobile.
