IMERG satellite data indicates significant rainfall (21-28 July 2025) in Bangladesh, Cambodia, parts of China, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, northern of the Philippines, north and eastern of Thailand, Viet Nam, and parts of GuamForecast data from NOAA’s Global Forecast System (GFS) suggests continued heavy rainfall over the next 7 days (28 July - 4 September 2025), notably in southeastern of Bangladesh, southern of China , northeastern of India, western of Indonesia, Lao PDR, southern of Maldives, coastal and southern of Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, northern and eastern of the Philippines, Solomon Islands, southwestern of Sri Lanka, and central highlands of Viet Nam.
