Candidates eligible to register for state quota seats in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses can register for the seat allotment on the official website – cgdme.in. The last date to register for round 1 is August 4.The choice filling and locking facility will be made available from July 29 to August 5. The merit list will be released on August 6, and the seat allotment process will be done on August 7.The round 1 seat allotment list will be announced on August 8. After the first round of counselling, admission to government medical colleges is mandatory for candidates who are allotted a seat. Admission is not mandatory for seats allotted in private medical colleges, government dental colleges, or private dental colleges.All allotted candidates must appear for scrutiny. Candidates who fail to take admission in the allotted government medical college will be excluded from the counselling process.The round 1 scrutiny process at the allotted institute can be done between August 9 and August 14 and the admission process will be held from August 9 to August 14.If a candidate is allotted a seat in a government medical college in round 1, they must physically report to the college and get their documents verified by the scrutiny committee. Upon successful verification, admission to the allotted college becomes compulsory.Candidates who wish to upgrade to round 2 must log in to their candidate portal and confirm their willingness to upgrade using an OTP.
