NMAT 2025 registration to begin on August 1; exams from November 5

The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has announced the registration and exam dates for the NMAT 2025. The online registration test is scheduled to begin on August 1. The exam will be held from November 5 to December 16, 2025, in a centre-based mode only. According to the notice, unlike previous cycles, there will be no option for online or remote proctored testing this year.Applicants can register and schedule their test through the official website at mba.com/nmat. The same portal will be used for rescheduling and retake bookings. If you don’t see it, check your spam/junk folder or click “Resend Email Verification” on the website.Step 3: Go to the “NMAT by GMAC™ Dashboard” on mba.com/nmat to access your Candidate Dashboard.Step 4: Complete your application on the Dashboard. Make sure your name and birthdate match exactly with your Photo ID.Step 5: Choose up to 5 schools to send your scores to. Internationally, the exam is accepted by management institutes in countries such as the Philippines, Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco, and Hungary.The NMAT by GMAC is a computer-based test consisting of three sections: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. The exam includes 108 questions to be answered within 120 minutes. It follows an adaptive format, adjusting the difficulty level based on the test-taker’s performance. Other features include no negative marking, equal weightage across all sections, and the option to choose the order in which sections are attempted. Candidates are allowed up to two retakes.
