That’s what it’s all about. It’s going to be very nice to see them in the stadiums as well.”How many goals did Gyokeres score for Sporting?Gyokeres joined Sporting from Coventry two years ago after firing the Sky Blues to the Championship play-off final.He went on to win two league titles, including a domestic double last term, during his time in Portugal.Those trophy triumphs were in large parts down to his prolific goalscoring record at Sporting. In just 102 appearances across all competitions for the club, Gyokeres scored 97 goals.That tally includes eight hat-tricks as well as chipping in with a further 28 assists for his team-mates.Gyokeres also has 15 goals in 26 caps for Sweden since making his senior international debut in 2019.His impressive record for the national team includes nine goals in six Nations League matches last autumn.He now hopes to continue his hot streak with Arsenal, adding: “I always want to score.“To be a part of this club and to score in this kit and with this badge in front of all the supporters, I can’t wait.
