In grad school I ate peanut butter sandwiches and apples I gleaned from a friend's parents fruit farm. I got the ones that fell on the ground. By the bushel. At one point saltines were cheaper than the day old bread store bread so it was crackers and PB. My mom had given me 3 boxes of tea for my birthday (yay mom) so as much tea as I could make with a tea bag per day. Also went to Mom's or sister's house on Sunday for lunch, and got a plate to take home. The plate was enough for 3 meals for me. On the bright side I stayed nice and thin.
