The four-time league MVP does not care what you or anyone else has to say.Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show in person, as ESPN’s big name brought his show to the site of the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp at Saint Vincent College.X/PATMCAFEESHOWRodgers and McAfee are known good friends[/caption]McAfee had a handful of Steelers on, including his good friend Rodgers, who has been a weekly guest on the show over the last few NFL seasons.Having already celebrated T.J Watt’s appearances with a chorus of ‘F*** Myles Garrett’, and ‘T’J’s better’ Steelers fans had been whipped into a frenzy by the time Rodgers arrived. The crowd behind the stage exploded when Rodgers walked on to the set and grabbed a microphone. They started R-rated chants, filled with expletives, looking lively as ever.Sitting alongside his former Packers teammate AJ Hawk, the two were involved in some back and forth about their days together with the franchise. It prompted the fans, once again, to turn a Rodgers response into a chant full of curse words.McAfee, the showman that he is, played up to the crowd and asked Rodgers a question that he knew would elicit a certain type of response.Aaron Rodgers didn’t mince his words“I saw you throw a pick to Patrick Queen, and saw everybody saying that you lost it,” McAfee said.“How much do you love people thinking that you lost it? How much do you love that?”“Oh, I don’t give a s*** about that,” Rodgers answered. The crowd then roared again, egging on their new starting quarterback and McAfee – who is not one to turn an opportunity down.X/@PATMCAFEESHOWRodgers didn’t hold back any thoughts[/caption]X/@PATMCAFEESHOWTomlin appeared on the show, among a handful of other guests[/caption]Rodgers was then asked if he planned to keep his weekly appearances on the show during football season, to which he deflected to Pittsburgh’s senior director of communications, Burt Lauten.“We’ll see,” Rodgers said. “We’ll see, you gotta talk to Burt over there.”Lauten manages all PR for the team, and Rodgers appearances while in Green Bay and in New York tended to cause headlines for all the wrong reasons.During Rodgers’ time on the show, he sang the praises of head coach Mike Tomlin and the franchise as a whole.“Pittsburgh is one of the cornerstone franchises in the NFL,” Rodgers said. “Everybody knows who they are, there are only a few of them.“It’s different here; there’s a level of expectation based on the excellence that’s happened here. You come in and kind of expect to fall in a line and to embody what it means to be a Steeler. “I really appreciate that, because I’ve been in Green Bay for 18 years, and it’s the same thing over there.”Rodgers then spoke glowingly about his new head coach.“Mike Tomlin is the man,” he said. “From day one that we talked on the phone in the offseason I knew that I was talking to a friend.. He’s such a great leader and I have so much respect for him.”Tomlin appeared on the show after Rodgers and echoed the same sentiment towards his new star quarterback. He will be hoping Rodgers can come in and stabilize a position that has been on rocky ground ever since Ben Roethlisberger retired after 2021.Tomlin will also be counting on Rodgers to help end an unfathomable postseason drought in the Steel City. The last time the Steelers won a playoff game was nearly a decade ago in 2016.NFL's Greatest......Ranking the top 10......Quarterbacks of all-time – Can anyone better Tom Brady?Wide receivers of all-time – Does Randy Moss or Jerry Rice come out on top?Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and moreTight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare? For a franchise such as Pittsburgh, it’s unacceptable.Rodgers has all but guaranteed this is going to be his last season in the NFL, so there’s no better way to go out than by doing it on top.
