Suresh be revoked. In a statement, FAPTO State chairman I. Sai Srinivas and secretary general S. While DEOs in all other districts implemented the orders given by the School Education Department, the Chittoor DEO acted in violation of the orders causing distress to teachers, they said. The FAPTO leaders said that though the issues were brought to the notice of the authorities concerned, no action was taken against the erring DEO. Instead, Tirupati district FAPTO chairman S. Suresh, who questioned the harassment, was suspended. They demanded that an inquiry be conducted into the violations of transfer and promotion norms by the Chittoor DEO and disciplinary action taken against him.
