The students were also told about the rules and regulations to be followed during the election process. Announcements were also made for the posts of General Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and other “ministerial roles” for the students from Classes 6 to 8. At least 15 students filed their nominations, with voluntary participation from both boys and girls. Candidates campaigned using posters while presenting their ideas across all sections. Teachers and students took part in the process. Additionally, parents of many students also took part in the elections. According to the school authorities, the newly-formed student committee will now play a key role in overseeing areas such as academics, sports, cleanliness, and health-related activities within the school.
