GMR Airports has commenced operating duty-free shops at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) from July 28, 2025. As the selected bidder last August, GMR Airports takes over from a previous operator. The company anticipates significant benefits from these shops, particularly in high-margin non-aeronautical business. GMR Airports already manages duty-free operations at Hyderabad, Goa, and Kannur airports.
