Peppa Pig bil-Malti will be returning for season two after the success of season one that managed to capture the hearts of children and parents across the Maltese Islands.“We can proudly say this is the first project of its kind in Malta — where one of the world’s most popular children’s cartoon franchises has been fully adapted into Maltese. It marks an important step forward for the promotion of local language and content,” said co-founder and Director of Media Exclusive, Ben Camille.To mark the return of Peppa Pig bil-Malti, Media Exclusive has released a special behind-the-scenes video offering a closer look at the making of Season 1. The video takes viewers inside the voice recording studio, introduces the talented local cast behind the beloved characters, and reveals how Peppa got her voice in Maltese. Featuring well-known personalities such as Peppi Azzopardi, Eileen Montesin, and others, the video showcases how these voices brought the Maltese version of the global franchise to life.The production company announced that the new episodes are set to air in October 2025 from Monday to Friday at 6.10am and 7.10am on TVM+ and at 4.10pm on TVM.This exciting project is once again being developed in collaboration with the Ċentru tal-Ilsien Malti within the Ministry for Culture, Lands and Local Government, which will continue supporting the initiative over the next three years.
