I’ve been playing Pokémon Go on and off since the day the mobile game came out in 2016. As a result, I’ve seen its changes over the years — from the introduction of new creatures to catch, the launch of community days and raids, and plenty of other new features. But there’s a reason that I would take breaks from the game, including my four-year pause between 2021 and 2025. Pokémon Go has an accessibility problem. When I started playing it again a few weeks ago, I was disappointed to find that these issues have still not been resolved.
