(AP)US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that his administration has struck a deal with Pakistan wherein the two countries are poised to work together to develop Islamabad’s oil reserves.In a post on Truth Social, Trump said “We have just concluded a deal with the country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive oil reserves.”Adding to the post, Trump said “We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling oil to India some day.”The announcement by President Trump comes days after Secretary of State Marco Rubio held meeting with Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in the United States.
