Just a few weeks after reopening from a two-month maintenance period, Disneyland Park’s Enchanted Tiki Room attraction is once again on Disneyland Resort’s refurbishment calendar.Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room was the first Disneyland Resort attraction to feature the pioneering audio-animatronic technology that has made the Disney parks what they are today. Both attractions have undergone several iterations, including the Tokyo Disney Resort exclusive Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha E Komo Mai!.When Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room closed at Disneyland Park on April 28, Disneyland Resort promised that it would return with some much-needed updates. Crews disassembled and rebuilt the original Tangaroa Tree audio-animatronic outside the building, which had been broken for many years. Unfortunately, just weeks into the Adventure attraction’s operation, Disney Park guests reported several broken audio-animatronics, incorrectly timed special effects, and a strange hissing sound in the background of the musical show.It seems that Disneyland Resort is already making plans to address these issues. According to the Southern California Disney park’s daily calendar, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room will close for refurbishment beginning September 7, 2025.
