I’m not against it. It looks like the amount she’s short rather than an entire down payment. Nothing wrong with asking for help if you need it. If she’s got a history of lavish spending or anything else that makes it sus, she may be a CB. But asking like this doesn’t put any pressure on anyone, and it doesn’t look like a nutso sob story. Just someone trying to make that last mile.
