Haruna Kasolo Shuts Up Semujju Nganda at Kibuli Over Tribal Talk, After PFF Man Attacks Karangwa

Wait 5 sec.

By Mulengera ReportersWhile at Kibuli during the Thursday Kabaka coronation anniversary celebrations, Semujju Nganda jokingly reached out to Minister and incoming NRM CEC member Haruna Kasolo and tried to incite him to turn against the ruling Party.“How can you continue to comfortably be in a party which despises Baganda to the extent of fronting a Karangwa to become ruling party Chairman for Buganda as if this region doesn’t have Baganda? It shows that party hates Baganda and doesn’t even respect this region. They are simply not sensitive to the feelings of people from Buganda,” Semujju Nganda whispered to Kasolo who sat next to him during the Kibuli ceremony. In response, Kasolo told Semujju Nganda to leave the business of NRM to NRM while concentrating on his own PFF party. Semujju Nganda revealed all this during his Thursday evening appearance on CBS radio moments after the Kibuli ceremony had ended. He said he was shocked about the blind loved and faith Kasolo has for such a party which he continues defending and loving even when it clearly has no agenda to genuinely empower Baganda politicians from Buganda region itself.Nganda said he was increasingly becoming worried to see the extent to which the Karangwas of this world are taking up positions of leadership in Buganda region as if the region has no worthy politicians to stand for elective positions.“The other day I was passing in Entebbe and was shocked to see how Kasolo’s party posters are full of names like Karangwa, Kananura etc and I’m wondering what happened to leaders from this region. Why should Baganda in NRM tolerate such marginalization?” Semujju Nganda said during the CBS weekly program where he appeared with NUP’s Joyce Bagala, NRM’s Brandon Kintu.
