UPDATE: Baħrija Shooting Leaves Two Dead, One Suspect At Large

Two men have been shot dead and another is on the run following a deadly shooting in Baħrija, on the outskirts of Rabat, late Tuesday evening.Police sources confirmed that the shooting took place in the area known as Il-Kunċizzjoni. A manhunt is underway for the alleged aggressor, a 72-year-old man from Ħaż-Żebbuġ, who is believed to be related to the victims.The victims are a 57-year-old man from Rabat and a 51-year-old man from Siġġiewi. Initial indications suggest the shooting followed a family dispute.Scenes of heartbreak unfolded at the site as several relatives of the victims gathered, visibly distraught. This incident marks Malta’s second double homicide of the year.Police officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit and district forces sealed off the area and continued their search operation well into the evening, with patrols also spotted along Baħrija’s Triq il-Fiera.Investigators remain on the scene and a magisterial inquiry has been opened.
