Two men have been killed following a shooting in Baħrija on Tuesday evening, in what appears to be a family-related double murder.Police were informed of gunshots at around 5.45pm. Rapid Intervention Units rushed to the area near the Kunċizzjoni chapel, where they found the two victims, a 51-year-old man from Siġġiewi and a 57-year-old man from Rabat.Both were confirmed dead at the scene.A 72-year-old man from Ħaż-Żebbuġ was arrested shortly after the incident.Police spokesperson confirmed that the victims were relatives of the suspect. One was reportedly the son of the suspect’s partner, and the other her son-in-law.A magisterial inquiry, led by Dr Joe Mifsud, has been launched, and investigations are ongoing.•
