I remember every conversation we shared − your passion to change the world, your fierce commitment to lift those who had fallen by the wayside, your crazy fashion… You navigated troubled waters with quiet conviction and always extended a helping hand to others. That was you: courageous, intelligent, compassionate, and unrelentingly kind. Wild, fun, complex − yet disarmingly simple. Above all, genuine.”Among the many tributes from friends and colleagues, a doctor at Mater Dei Hospital who had grown close to her in her final weeks said he was grateful for the time they shared:“It was you who gave me the support and enthusiasm to carry on each day. Her legacy will live on in every life she touched.”Her ex-colleagues have also started a fundraiser in her name in aid of Puttinu Cares with almost €6,000 already raised.Laura’s funeral mass will take place on Saturday at 9am at Attard Parish Church. Lovin Malta extends its condolences to Laura’s family and loved ones.•
