Pakistani security forces killed three Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants in Karachi, including Zafran, the mastermind behind the November 2024 attack on Chinese engineers. The operation, conducted in Manghopir, resulted in an hour-long firefight. Authorities recovered a suicide jacket, grenades, and weapons from the militants, amidst a surge in militant attacks since the TTP ended its ceasefire in 2022.
