The NBA is officially returning to London.The league announced on Wednesday that the Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic will play a regular-season game at The 02 on January 18, 2026. Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are heading to LondonGettyJa Morant‘s Grizzlies and Paolo Banchero’s Magic will also play at the Uber Arena in Berlin on January 15, 2026.The NBA London Game 2026 will be the 19th game featuring an NBA team in the United Kingdom since 1993, and the league’s 10th regular-season game in the city. The league also announced that it will play regular-season games in Manchester and Paris in 2027, and in Berlin and Paris in 2028. London Mayor Sadiq Khan had been pushing for the NBA’s return to London.A Team USA squad featuring LeBron James and Stephen Curry sold out the O2 last year while preparing to win the gold medal during the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.“I did meet with Mayor Sadiq Khan in September, and we discussed our shared ambition to expand basketball in London,” NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum said in June. “He was clearly pushing me for return of games back to London. And I do think that that’s something that will happen in the not too distant future.”The NBA hopes its overseas push will eventually lead to NBA Europe.
