The German side value Sesko at €80m (£69m) but both Manchester United and Newcastle are hopeful of negotiating terms for around €70m (£60.4m).The 22-year-old is regarded as one of Europe’s most promising number nine prospects. He’s scored 39 goals in 87 games since joining Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023 and has netted  16 times in 41 caps for Slovenia. However, a move for Sesko is now the priority with talks due to take place in Germany this week. The potential arrival of Sesko could cast doubt on Rasmus Hojlund’s future at Old Trafford. Hojlund scored just four Premier League goals last season during a disappointing second season with the club.
