The Gozo Ceramics Festival will showcase the incredible works of over 30 artists from Malta, Gozo and beyond.Set to launch this Friday, the festival seeks to bring together tradition, innovation, and community engagement in the heart of Gozo through exhibitions, workshops, and jaw-dropping performances.Festivities begin at 8.00pm with the opening of the Ceramics Arts Collective exhibition at the Cittadella Cultural Centre in Victoria. This curated exhibition, which will run for a full month, showcases the work of over 30 ceramic artists, including a number of emerging young talents.The celebration continues on Saturday from 6.00pm to 11.00pm with the 12th Annual Gozo Ceramics Festival at Xlendi Bay.This seaside event offers an immersive, family-friendly atmosphere with more than 40 ceramic artists conducting live demonstrations. Visitors can enjoy traditional and contemporary music, a brass band, dance performances, and hands-on clay activities suitable for all ages.A standout moment of the festival is a unique live performance by an international ceramic artist, who will demonstrate the art of pottery while cycling, blending creativity with performance art.Organised by Alka Ceramics Ltd, the Ministry for Gozo, the Gozo Cultural Directorate, and the Munxar Local Council, the festival continues to be a vital platform for cultural exchange and artistic expression, celebrating Gozo’s longstanding and evolving ceramic tradition.Will you be attending this festival?•
