The eighth edition of The Hindu Home Expo got under way at the LuLu Mall on Friday (August 1). The three-day event, presented by Cera Sanitaryware Ltd and powered by Canara Bank, features over 100 properties by top builders.As many as 20 builders and three banks are participating in the three-day event, which offers home buyers attractive properties. The participating banks have come forward to offer loans to the buyers at attractive interest rates. The builders would offer the apartments at special rates at the expo.The projects approved by the Kerala Real Estate Regulatory Authority are on sale at the expo. The interested home buyers can visit the 25 stalls set up as part of the expo from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.T.J. Vinod, MLA, hoped that The Hindu Home Expo would offer a variety of apartments and villas for the buyers. A large number of people from various parts of the State and the country have made Kochi city their home town by settling here. The expo, he hoped, would provide the home buyers, apartments and villas of their choice. The coming together of the property sellers and financial institutions at the expo would turn out to be convenient for the buyers, he said.Recollecting the association with The Hindu Home Expo during the last three editions of the event, Jayadeep Narasimham, Senior GM (Sales), CERA Sanitaryware Ltd, the guest of honour, said the past expos had lived up to the expectations of the buyers.
