Could we see a last-minute Jorrel Hato-to-Chelsea hijack? That’s the question Gooners are asking after fresh revelations about the Ajax starlet’s future.Hato Agrees Terms with ChelseaAccording to Fabrizio Romano, Jorrel Hato has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea. The deal now depends on whether Ajax and the Blues can strike a fee agreement, with the player reportedly determined to make the move to Stamford Bridge.This development may sting a little, as Arsenal had long admired the Dutch defender. Even though Riccardo Calafiori is set for a big season and Myles Lewis-Skelly continues to impress, Hato was once seen as the ideal inverted full-back for Mikel Arteta’s system.After a standout 2023-24 campaign at Ajax, Hato emerged as a serious target. But the player decided to remain in Amsterdam last summer to continue his development, prompting Arsenal to pivot towards Calafiori instead.
