Members of the Janata Dal (Secular) on Monday staged a demonstration here to protest against MLC Yathindra Siddaramaiah’s statement, comparing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah with Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar in terms of their respective contributions to Mysuru.In a statement, the district unit of the JD(S), condemned the MLC’s comparison and suggested him to compare the Chief Minister’s achievements with other political leaders, but not Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar whose contributions are beyond any comparison. The MLC has made the statement without knowing the achievements and contributions of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, it stated.The protestors demanded that Mr. Yathindra apologise for his statement since the people are hurt by his comments.
