A shallow magnitude 5.8 earthquake was reported early afternoon near Jutiapa, Municipio de Jutiapa, Departamento de Jutiapa, Guatemala.According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake hit on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at 3:21 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10. km.
