In June 2025, 23 cluster partners reported cluster activities supported by 8 donors (European Union, ECHO, UNICEF, UNESCO, Education Cannot Wait, SIDA, Masterpeace & Turning Foundation and Building Schools for Africa) implemented activities in 12 Divisions and covered 43 subdivisions. Some of the major activities implemented by the partners were: radio education programme and alternative education platforms, which reached 33,252 children with 13,680 (41%) boys, and 59%) girls. Through the radio education programmes, 370 teachers, supervisors & other Education staff were trained in life skills, psychosocial support & other topics related to education in emergencies. Psychosocial activities related to Conflict & disaster risk management & Child Protection were implemented and reached 1,952 persons (816 males and 1,136 females) with 10,27 girls and 740 boys. Learning materials were distributed to 1,304 children (645 boys and 642 girls). Advocacy and social dialogue with stakeholders in the education system (communities, teachers, administrative and school officials, Partners, etc.) to foster access of all children to education, including girls and children living with disabilities, reached 1,303 persons (777 females and 526 males). The provision of grants to schools & training institutions & the most vulnerable families & children reached 1,063 persons (574 females and 489 males).NORTH WEST REGION: SHUMAS carried out an endline assessment during which they surveyed 260 beneficiaries, facilitated biology, chemistry and physics practical for holiday makers, monitored the ECHO II project across 52 TLS, and provided psychosocial support to 4 traumatized youths. GPA carried out an assessment across 10 subdivisions in the North West in partnership with the Regional Delegation of Basic Education. This assessment was focused on transitioning 260 out of school children that have been receiving non formal education through The Teaching at Right Level teaching/Learning methodology to formal schools. GPA has reached 5,802 out-of-school children in level 1, that is 2,931 girls and 2,871 boys. WESAD currently has 3 operational clubs in BAMENDA 2 and SANTA. In SANTA, they reached out to 50 girls and 20 boys with club activities. These club activities are aimed at empowering children aged 10 to 18 years with leadership and Advocacy skills, community service, decision making, Creative arts and entrepreneurship. Plan International conducted monitoring visits to their temporary learning spaces, which are presently hosting 288 Out-of-school children in Mezam, Belo, and Oku. They equally distributed school bags to 129 children in their Temporary Learning Spaces.SOUTH WEST REGION: NADEV, in partnership with UNESCO on Non-formal learning in Kumba I, targeted 2,500 children. They also trained children in Agripreneurship. PAID-WA disseminated alternate learning materials in partnership with UNESCO in 10 communities, reaching 200 learners. TeenAlive, in partnership with UNESCO, reached over 3,600 children in the South West. QFF, in partnership with UNICEF, reached 3,272 out-of-school children in 6 Divisions, continued the construction of TLS and implemented recreational activities for these children. QFF also implements school feeding activities in Wabane. Good Hope Charity Organization conducted menstrual hygiene activities in Bokwango.
