Aaron Rodgers have gone viral once again.A video is circulating online depicting a young kid throwing a football in the quarterback’s direction whilst playing golf, only for Rodgers to throw it into the crowd in the opposite direction.Rodgers has fired back at the comments made by Steelers legend Terry BradshawGettySome fans criticised Rodgers for this, with one fan taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and writing: “He knew exactly where the ball came from. If you really watch, he stares right at the kid and throws the other way.”“That poor kid was heartbroken,” said another.“That’s f***** up,” wrote a third.“Never meet your heroes,” a fourth wrote. However, the majority of fans’ responses were in support of the 10-time Pro Bowler, with a few making the assumption that the kid only threw the ball in the first place because of autograph collecting-adults. “Autograph collectors use kids like this to shame celebrities into signing stuff,” one fan wrote. “Why is this kid being told to throw a football at Aaron Rodgers? Using kids as props is being a bad person,” another fan wrote. “He’s not entitled to sign peoples c**p. He’s trying to have fun golfing, he doesn’t want people throwing stuff at him. He’s a person too people,” a third fan wrote. This isn’t the first time Rodgers has been criticised on the green either, with him almost hitting a kid with his golf club during the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament earlier in July.Instead of apologizing to the kid, who told Rodgers that he had almost hit him with his club, he opted to roast him, saying ‘almost doesn’t count.’Footage showed the youngster throwing a football onto the green where Rodgers (in blue) stood before the QB launched it into the standX@ML_FootballAaron Rodgers responds to Terry Bradshaw criticism It comes after Rodgers broke his silence on Terry Bradshaw’s comments over his move to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 NFL offseason. The four-time Super Bowl champion with the Steelers in the 1970s hit out at the four-time NFL MVP back in June, making his feelings strongly known that he wasn’t all that happy with his former team’s decision to sign the 41-year-old veteran. “That’s a joke. That to me is just a joke,” Bradshaw told 103.7 The Buzz. “What are you gonna do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me?“That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.”Rodgers signed a one-year, $13.65 million contract to be Pittsburgh’s signal caller for 2025, with the expectation that this is his final year in his storied career. With training camp in full swing as teams all over the NFL are gearing up for the 2025 campaign, Rodgers sat down with Kyle Brandt on Back Together Weekend to respond to Bradshaw’s comments, saying that he wants to get to know Bradshaw on a ‘deeper level’ and see if the Steelers legend changes his mind. NFL's Greatest......Ranking the top 10......Quarterbacks of all-time – Can anyone better Tom Brady?Wide receivers of all-time – Does Randy Moss or Jerry Rice come out on top?Running backs of all-time – Stacking Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith and moreTight ends of all-time – How does Travis Kelce compare?“I whisper to the gods everyday,” Rodgers responded. “I’ve known Terry for a long time being a part of Fox. Terry is a legend. He’s an absolute legend. He’s won four Super Bowls, he’s had a legendary career in the media.“But Terry, like a lot of people, doesn’t know me. So he’s got an idea of what he thinks about me based on what I’ve done, the documentary, what I’ve said, the darkness retreat, whatever you wanna talk about.“I’d love to get to know Terry on a deeper level, and I feel like if he gave me a chance to get to know him, then we’d have a good friendship because for me, I have nothing but the utmost respect for what the greats have done.“They’ve laid the foundation for us to be able to play in this great game, to be paid like kings, and to carry on the tradition of excellence that guys like the Bradshaws of the world in the ‘70s…Lombardi, and Joe Montana and Steve Young and Troy Aikman, and Brett Favre, and all the greats like Tom Brady. The Steelers were criticised for signing Rodgers by legend BradshawGettyBradshaw led the Steelers to four Super Bowls in the 1970sGetty“We’re standing up on the backs of those guys because of how they’ve played, how they’ve carried themselves, and we’re able to have this opportunity to still play this great game, to still get paid really well, to set ourselves up for our future.“So I’d love to get to know Terry on a deeper level if he’s open to it, and maybe we can go chew some bark, or whatever the hell he’s talking about, together.” Entering his 21st season, Rodgers is also assumed to be a placeholder quarterback as the Steelers are looking ahead to the 2026 draft to select their future franchise quarterback, with Arch Manning one of a few prospects the Black and Gold are thought to be monitoring. Whilst his response to Bradshaw’s comments was full of respect and class, Rodgers has also made headlines of late as a result of a viral video. All focus is now on Steelers training camp, and with the organization having been super aggressive in the offseason by signing $375 million worth of talent, they have firmly signaled their intent that this season is really championship-or-bust.With that in mind, Rodgers and co’s performances next season could also dictate head coach Mike Tomlin’s future after 18 seasons in charge. No pressure then.View Tweet: https://t.co/6TrRwW129GStay up to date with the latest from the NFL across all platforms – follow our NFL Facebook page, subscribe to our talkSPORT End Zone YouTube channel for all the offseason news, interviews and more.
