Holy Toledo; what a freaking train wreck! Whatever BS they want to claim, they could be doing something to stop living their lives as professional leeches. My hubby and I went through a terrible patch years ago. We asked our neighbors if they’d be willing to buy us a can of formula to last until our next check. They drove off and came back with formula, bottled water, diapers and wipes. The day our check arrived, I knocked on their door with a basket of homemade muffins and an envelope of money. They took the muffins but refused the money, said they would prefer we spend it on the baby. She smiled very kindly and told me that one day we’d get the chance to pay it forward, and we have many, many times.
