Nearly all of these dismissals have occurred after individuals were targeted by outside allies who convinced the president that they weren’t sufficiently loyal to his agenda. According to Politico, the firings have affected multiple government agencies, including the Pentagon, the White House National Security Council, and various executive branch departments. In many cases, officials found themselves in Loomer’s crosshairs before being removed from their positions. The dismissals reflect what one presidential ally described as Trump’s zero-tolerance approach to loyalty, noting that while the president has always valued allegiance, the current level of scrutiny represents something unprecedented. Loomer has openly acknowledged her role in collecting information about administration officials she considers disloyal. She told reporters that she is now fielding tips from administration officials about colleagues they want removed, describing what she called “a serious vetting crisis” and predicting there are “hundreds” more she expects to purge. She characterized her tip line as serving as ‘a form of therapy for Trump administration officials’ claims that align with her previous boasts that Trump sees her as a ‘guide’ for firing decisions who want to expose their colleagues who should not be in the positions that they’re in.” Multiple high-profile dismissals linked to Loomer’s influence Several notable firings have been directly connected to Loomer’s advocacy. This week, Trump ordered the removal of the FDA’s top vaccine regulator, Vinay Prasad, after just three months on the job, a firing that Loomer single-handedly orchestrated through her targeted campaign, despite opposition from Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Marty Makary. The decision came after Loomer labeled Prasad a “progressive leftist saboteur undermining President Trump’s FDA” on her website, sparking broader conservative criticism. It is extraordinary. In May, Trump withdrew the nomination of former Fox News contributor Janette Nesheiwat for surgeon general after Loomer questioned her ideological alignment with the administration. Six National Security Council officials, including senior directors Brian Walsh and Maggie Dougherty, were fired in April, a day after Loomer reportedly met with Trump. She later took credit for these dismissals on social media.
