Over 130 held last year amid crackdown on visa, passport fraud in Delhi: Police

Yet, there was scope to work on this line of investigation. Working on it, more than 100 bank accounts of the agents have been frozen so far. Assets of the agents, suspected to have been derived from the proceeds of criminal activity, are being identified,” said DCP (IGI) Vichitra Veer.Further, police said 140 lookout circulars (LOCs) were issued in 2025 against absconding accused to prevent them from fleeing abroad. During the year, 119 proclaimed offenders – including accused people wanted in decade-old cases – were also arrested.The airport unit has also intensified action against touts and thefts from passenger baggage and cargo. Police said over 300 cases were registered against touts, leading to the arrest of more than 400 people, while around 60 persons were arrested in cases related to theft from baggage and cargo.
