UG admissions under CSAS: Delhi University first list out, over 93,000 seats allocated

The allocations have been made for 71,624 seats across 79 undergraduate programmes offered by 69 colleges of the varsity (Archive)Delhi University on Saturday announced the first seat allocation list for undergraduate programmes for the 2025-26 academic session under its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). A total of 93,166 allocations have been made across various categories in this round.The allocations have been made for 71,624 seats across 79 undergraduate programmes offered by 69 colleges of the varsity. Among the allocations, 1,325 seats have been given to candidates under the ‘Single Girl Child’ category, while 259 seats have been allotted to applicants from the ‘Orphan’ category — 127 female and 132 male students.The candidates can access their individual allocation status along with the minimum scores required and allocation ranks through their CSAS dashboards, the university stated.The minimum allocation scores for various programmes and categories will also be published on the admission portal for wider reference.Meanwhile, the university has clarified that performance-based allocations will be carried out in the third round for programmes such as BA (Hons) Hindustani Music, BA (Hons) Karnataka Music, BA (Hons) Percussion Music, BS. in Physical Education, Health Education and Sports, and Bachelor of Fine Art. The aspirants have been advised to refer to the trial schedules and requirements available on the respective college or department websites.For candidates applying for postgraduate courses, the university has opened applications for Spot Round I under CSAS (PG)-2025.This round is specifically for candidates who had registered earlier but were not admitted to any programme in the previous allocation rounds.Story continues below this adThose wishing to be considered must now opt for the Spot Admission process by selecting it through their CSAS(PG) dashboards, said the varsity.The university has emphasised that only those who explicitly opt in will be considered for this round.
