Edwin Feulner, the founder and longtime president of the Heritage Foundation, a prominent U.S. conservative think tank, has passed away at 83. Feulner established Heritage in 1973 and led it until 2013, during which time it became a key intellectual force for the Reagan Revolution and the broader conservative movement. He was honored with the Presidential Citizens Medal in 1989.
