Not only do I know the definition of begging, but you apparently agree with my understanding of the definition: offering far less money for a service than it's worth. In other words, babysit my kids, one of whom is special needs, for less money than makes sense. She doesn't say she will literally take anyone (unless I misread it), she asks for someone with experience with children that have disabilities. Is there a good reason for that? Sure! It's a bad fit for everyone if the person is unprepared for what they signed up for. You asked if I've ever tried dealing with mental illness with no background. No, I deal with kids with this disorder on a daily basis. Yeah, I got (and continue to get) the training necessary to work with them (even then, my lead teacher was attacked by one of our ODD students and spent yesterday in the ER). But, guess what? I GET PAID APPROPRIATELY for what I do. The school didn't say, hey we're state funded so we can only pay you minimum wage to do a job that's worth much more and if they do so when I get there on Monday I'm quitting (and I'm willing to bet so are most, if not all of my co-workers). If I hire a welder I pay them the going rate. If I didn't but asked them to do the work anyway, that would be choosey.
